How Deployments Work

1. Effortless Deployment

  • Go to your Project Dashboard > App Deployment > Deploy New App.
  • Connect your GitHub repository (personal or organizational repos supported).
  • Select the branch you want to deploy, and Movestax will automatically detect the framework you’re using.

2. Custom Configuration for Builders

  • Add environment variables manually or paste your .env file into our parsing tool for quick setup.
  • Review the summary page and click Deploy when ready.

3. Deployment Logs

  • After deployment, view detailed logs to verify success or identify issues.
  • Redeployment logs are available for every subsequent deploy.

4. Custom Domains

  • Add a custom domain directly in your app settings.
  • We’ll guide you through DNS configuration, providing the necessary TXT and CNAME records.
  • Refresh to validate the setup, and Movestax will issue an SSL certificate for secure access.

5. Scaling and Management

  • Your application URL is formatted as deploymentid.movestax.app.
  • Manage deployments, view history, and redeploy apps through the Management Page.
  • Auto-scaling (coming soon) will automatically adjust resources based on demand.
